Overview
The Outreach & Admissions Manager leads the Admissions & Communications Department.
The purpose of the role is to drive the number of student applications and accepted offers, by providing excellent customer service to the school’s prospective parents and their children. The Manager reports to the Head of School and is responsible for managing individual applications through each step of the admissions process, ensuring that targets for registrations, confirmations, and final acceptances are achieved and the quality of accepted candidates meets or exceeds the school’s standards.
This person is responsible for our outsourced Marketing department.
The successful candidate will also bring their experience of leading a team to provide inspiration, support and development to a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the face of the school to prospective families
- Develop and implement integrated student recruitment campaigns
- Create and develop strong relationships with external partners (publications, agencies, consultants, companies, etc)
- Oversee and drive marketing campaigns
- Oversee analysis of data which informs marketing strategies (Google analytics, Facebook analytics, Twitter)
- Promote and guard the brand identity
- Create and optimise an outreach database (Nurseries/schools, Embassies, agencies,...)
- Recruit and train parents and students for the school’s Ambassador programme
- Manage the department budget
- Lead on tenders as needed (website...)
- Function as a liaison, network, build relationships, reach out to prospective schools and external stakeholders both nationally and internationally
- Produce the documentation and reports of their activity as requested by the Head of School
