Overview
We are seeking a Multimedia Producer & Communications Officer, ideally with experience working in a school. Under the guidance of the Head of School and Head of Department, this role is to create, design and maintain the visual presence of the School. You are the main photographer and digital media editor for the business. You will cover all school events and activities relating to the school day. Strong visual skills and social media agility is essential. This is a great stepping-stone for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to have a high degree of creativity and be part of a successful school community. The position is to be filled by 17 August 2020.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit content - photos, video , sound
- Maintain & update website and digital media channels
- Cover all school events
- Work closely with the wider team on promotional events
- Communicate with external partners
- Design promotional materials
- Ad hoc duties.
Education & Experience Required
- You are a social media savvy
- Degree or experience in visual arts, applied arts, digital media, etc.
- Visual acumen with artistic flair and highly detail orientated
- CMS experience ideally with WordPress
- Strong written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proactive approach to work (initiative is a must)
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe suite, Indesign, Photoshop software; editing video software (Final cut pro X), etc
- Video and sound editing experience is ideal
- English native-speaker ideally with fluent French
